OUR FOUNDER
Gloria Mzila absolutely loves her job as a wedding and events planner, from initial inspiration to impeccable organisation; she loves to bring ideas to life and create truly memorable weddings and special events. She has been fortunate enough to organise an array of events for over seven successful years. After her success in planning corporate events she launched One Touch Events to offer a more personalised, individual approach to events management.
When she’s not working on weddings or special events, you’ll find her giving back to the community with OGC (Our Great commission); a charity where she is the founder and managing director. The charity provides training, capacity-building activities, mentoring schemes and focus groups for homeless young people. Today, the charity is inspiring many young people who are struggling with depression, low self-esteem and hopelessness bounce back into society and become world changers and positive forces for change.
She is also a self-development coach and a speaker using her own life experiences to help influence and empower others strive to become better versions of themselves despite life’s setbacks, she believes that peoples present circumstances do not have to define their future. In fact it could put them in a position to help others. So despite what is going on around us we mustn’t give up. Belief is the first step towards achieving. Always be willing to make yourself available and adaptable to change and never give up on yourself because there is somebody in this world who is waiting to hear your story to help transform theirs.
Her husband, Bright, is her partner in all things life. Together they are passionate about travelling, and are lovers of the adventures it brings along with the chance to be exposed to all this beautiful world has to offer.
